Miles of boardwalk with
amusement piers, games of chance, and boardwalk
fare are the hub of activity for vacationers.
From early morning bike
rides, to late night amusement rides there are

May County Park & Zoo
Located one mile north of Cape May Court
House, on Rte. 9 and Crest Haven Road, the 128
acre Cape May County Park & Zoo is open year
'round seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Considered one of the best full-system parks
in the state, the Cape May County Park & Zoo
offers plenty of recreational facilities such as
playground areas, tennis and volleyball courts,
baseball fields, nature, walking, jogging and
bike trails and fresh water fishing.
While many visitors go to the Park & Zoo to
find something to do, just as many go to just
relax and enjoy a leisurely walk or sit and
think among the natural surroundings. A visit to
the Park & Zoo is pleasant alternative to the
beaches. There are plenty of benches, shade
trees, covered pavilions, picnic tables,
open-pit barbecues and clean restrooms available
for family outings.
Over 100 species of wildlife are housed in
the beautiful setting of this well maintained
zoo. Come see the playful otters, tigers,
bobcats, reindeer, zebra, goats and bears. Be
sure to stop and say "Hi" to our old friends,
Brutus and Tinkerbell the Cougars, Matilda and
Dundee the Wallabies, Jerome the Giraffe,
Charlie the Camel, Fernando the Llama, and the
rest of our friends in the Reptile House, Monkey
House and Aviary.

Coast Guard Base
The United States Coast
Guard Base was a Naval base in World War II.
Today it is the only Coast Guard “boot camp” in
the country, as well as an active “search and
rescue” center. Summer Sunset Parades on
the base stir the patriot in all of us.

Concrete Ship /
Sunset Beach
The Concrete Ship,
U.S.S. Atlantus, broke loose from her moorings
during a 1926 storm and sank where you see her
remains today, just off Sunset Beach, Cape May
Point.

Schellenger's Landing
Schellenger’s Landing -
located at the entrance to Cape May,
Schellenger’s Landing is home to one of the
largest fleets of commercial fishing boats in
