The Cape May Lighthouse
in Cape May Point State Park was built in 1859.
It is said to be the second oldest continually
operating lighthouse in the United States.

Doo Wop
The Doo Wop Museum is home to
memorabilia celebrating the Wildwoods rock and
roll history. Numerous motels showcase the
Doo Wop architecture of the early 1950’s and
60’s.

Hereford Inlet
Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse
& Museum served sailors from 1874 to 1964.
It’s Victorian design made a comfortable home
for the Lighthouse keeper and his family.
It functions as a museum with a gift shop,
award-winning gardens and offers tours all year
long. It is listed on the State and
National Historic Registers.

Historic Cold Spring
Village
Historic Cold Spring Village is an an Early
American open-air living history museum
comprised of 25 buildings on a 22 acre wooded
site. The structures, built during the early
1800's, were brought in from sites throughout
Cape May County and laid out to represent a
small 19th century South Jersey farming village.
Authentically costumed village craftspeople
demonstrate age old crafts using traditional
tools, methods and materials. The blacksmith,
weaver, potter, printer, carver, broomsmith and
quilter practice their art through the day.
The Welcome Center, located at the Route 9
entrance of Historic Cold Spring Village is a
good starting point for the visitor.
In addition to Special Event Weekends, there
are weekday children's activities and free wagon
rides with admission to the Village and Free
Sunday Afternoon Concerts beginning at 5 pm. The Village is open Tuesday through Sunday
from 10-4:30 through Labor Day Weekend and
several weekends in September.

Operates the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate,
including the Carriage House Gallery and the
1859 Cape May Lighthouse located at Cape May
Point. MAC sponsors the annual Cape May Music
Festival in June and a year round schedule of
walking and trolley tours of Cape May's Historic
District, as well as house tours, living history
programs and workshops and lectures dedicated to
the Victorian lifestyle.
